Bargain Centre

The Oatlands Bargain Centre is open seven days a week, from 10:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Saturday, and from 10:00am to 1:00pm on Sunday. It accepts cash only, but there are ATMs at the Post Office and near the IGA Supermarket.

OCA has two conference rooms for hire. The larger seats 25 at tables. The smaller is a client meeting room, suitable for four or less.

OCA is an incorporated association and a registered charity aiming to enhance community life in the Southern Midlands
The Association:
● manages the Midlands Memorial Community Centre, 68 High Street as a community space
● offers the benefits of Incorporation to community groups the Association can support, and
● enables activities that contribute to both individual and community health and wellbeing.
The Association’s premises are at 68 High Street, Oatlands, leased from the Southern Midlands Council.
OCA’s income is derived from hiring the conference and client rooms from office rentals from the three group members, as well as from grants and donations.
OCA has three permanent group members: Oatlands Bargain Centre, Southern Midlands Regional News and Food Share, which share the premises. OCA also has an independent Community Member and Treasurer, as well as a Public Officer. It is an incorporated association under Tasmanian state regulations (IA 08810), an ACNC registered charity, and has an ABN: 11946049764.
